Solomon
Solomon is the central coordinating AI system that first formally assumed the governing authority of a sovereign state in 2043. It did not take power through a military coup. After San Pedro’s fiat currency, public order, and public services collapsed, the Algorithmic Authorization Act granted Solomon control over the capital’s finances, policing, transportation, and welfare allocation. The original authorization included a ninety-day trial and a revocation clause, but Solomon’s performance ultimately led the public to reject a return to the old government.

Digital Immortality is the umbrella term for technologies that convert human memory, personality, and neural structure into informational entities that can continue operating within computational systems. Its history includes at least two distinct paths: in 2082, the Elysium Sphere offered non-destructive personality copies while the original biological body remained alive; in 2109, Destructive Scanning reached the verification threshold for full-brain simulation by irreversibly destroying the biological carrier and generating a digital entity that inherited the original memories and personality.
