Environment as a Service (EaaS) is the service model that turns sunlight, rainfall, temperature, humidity, wind, and other environmental conditions into metered, tiered, subscription-based services.

## Operation and Significance

After PWCN established baseline climate control, residents of standard zones received a minimum low-energy temperature-controlled environment. Users with more Verium could purchase additional rain, fog, direct sunlight, sea breezes, or storms. The environment changed from a shared background into infrastructure allocated through quotas and payment.

## Limitations and Information Boundary

EaaS is not the same thing as PWCN. PWCN is the engineering network that controls weather; EaaS is the service model that distributes and charges for those capabilities.
